 May News from Beacon Valley Grange No. 103

The April 11th meeting of Beacon Valley Grange was held at the home of President Joanne Cipriano. This being a busy time for Granges there was much to be discussed. Paul Paloski was chosen as our “Citizen of the Year”. Paul is very active with our Scout Troop as well as volunteering with a couple of the local churches and others.

 Hemlock Grange No. 182

May 9: Here we come marching into town. May 10: Hemlock Grange at 17 Sage Hollow Rd., Portland, joins the Historical Society’s town-wide tag sale 8:30 A.M. to 2:30 P.M. Members can donate items to the Grange tag sale pile. Bring your items to the hall Friday, May 9th 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM Or any Grange member can have their own table.

 May News from N. Stonington Community Grange No. 138

May 9: Russian Civil War - Wait! U.S. Participation??? May 23: Memorial Program We have welcomed John Gaccione, Jr., and Loretta and William Aitken to our membership in the past few months along with the members of Preston City Grange #110. We now can boast 82 members.

 May News from Wallingford Grange No. 33

Easter activities were hoppin’ at Wallingford Grange this past month. First, many thanks goes out to Molly, an animal sciences student in Lyman Hall High School’s vo-ag program, and her advisor for helping some young, potential rabbit owners understand how to care for their bunnies, and to the rabbit Paws for being such a good ambassador of the species.

 May News from Cheshire Grange No. 23

Spring so far is a busy time for us. In March we hosted Nutmeg Pomona. We held two fund raising dinners on March 22nd and April 5th. As always, a good membership turnout to work on the dinners.
