Aug. 7: Smokey Bear; Potluck Picnic June saw us meeting back upstairs
in our Grange Hall, we all enjoyed being in the Hall. Visitors Michelle DeDominicus and Helen Forrest from Hillstown Grange presented a fine program on the American Flag, a flag quiz and singing of patriotic songs.
A resolution on the highway speed of school buses was discussed and voted to pass onto Eastern CT Pomona. We send a card filled with well wishes to Mariellen Baxter as she recovers from surgery.
We enjoyed a very social hour with refreshments after the meeting.
