| MAY 1, 2026 -- Happy Spring at last! I am sure you have all worked diligently on your projects. I wanted to remind you that it is really important that you fill out your report for Family Activities. At this point in the year, you should be able to start filling in some of the blanks. If anyone still needs to get the form for Subordinate or Pomona Granges, you can al- ways download it from the CT state Grange Website at http://www.ct-stategrange.org/CWACorner.asp
This is for the last year that we are doing the Gnome Theme. I hope you have all had a chance to make something for the craft and needlework contests. The Fair this year will be held on July 31st – August 2nd at Hillstown Grange. Fri- day you can drop off your entries from 3-7 pm or Saturday morning from 8 to 10 am before judging starts. Hillstown Grange will be doing a pancake breakfast on Sun- day. We will have our teacup auction as well. Be sure to come down and support everyone who made entries in both the Needlework and Lecturer’s photo contests. Come sit a spell and see friends you may not have seen in a while and enjoy breakfast!
We are looking for judges for different contests. Absolutely anyone can judge the craft, baking or Gnome themed entries and we would encourage
you to give it a try. As always, we need judges for the needlework – a knowledge of crochet/knit and or sewing is required. We will be Judging on Saturday, August 1st starting at 11:00 am. Once we have finished all the judging, we will be serving a nice lunch as a thank you for your assistance. So please contact me or let your Pomona Family Activities chairperson know as soon as possible. I look forward to working with you and having some fun and a great Fair!
