| DECEMBER 1, 2025 -- I’d like to thank everyone who participated in our G dollar contest. We raised $2779.00 and presented the check to our State President to help with the costs for state session. The winning Granges for the most collected were Ekonk (over 50 members), Hillstown (under 50 members) and Eastern Pomona for the most collected by their subordinates! This was a big win for all.
We had lots of fun with the basket raffles. Carol Innis, Debbie Hanlon and Sue Belle Isle were the winners. Debbie Hanlon also won the weight guessing game of Norm the Gnome.
We are in our second year now for the “Everything Gnome theme contest. The only changes in this year’s program are the baking contest and our special craft contest of decorate a picture frame. I sent home many of the Chairman packages from those attending the State Session and will be mailing the rest out. Our yearly zoom meeting will be held on Sunday, December 14th at 7:00 pm. There will be only 1 short meeting so please plan to be on it or send someone for your Grange. Anyone can join in this meeting as well.
And finally, we had a banner year at the NEGB. The Craft department had a significant increase and brought in $20,888.00! The amount continues to increase due to the quality of donations which allows me to increase the prices of those items while at the same time being less expensive than other vendors
throughout the fair. People know this and come into the fair just for our items. Our reputation truly precedes us! I’d like to thank each and every one of you who took the time to make and donate items for us to sell. This money goes towards building improvements which are costly.
The CFA committee wishes you Happy Holidays. Be safe and enjoy time with friends and family
